Is this GDPR-compliant for patient data?
The architecture does the heavy lifting: special-category data is processed on your own device, so there is no transfer to justify and no processor to contract. Your existing duties (consent, retention) stay the same; the tool just doesn't add new ones.
Does it need an internet connection?
No. Transcription runs offline. Optional update checks are documented on the security page, and Hard Offline Mode blocks every connection.
Can a practice equip several rooms?
